Let's start with the base formula for calculating Rarity - we sum points for all the traits with points for attribute count. The following formula is used for awarding points: 1 / rarity %. In trait, normalized version points are awarded by this formula: 1 / (count of occurrences for the attribute/count of the most popular attribute in a trait). In addition to the base formula, we also add some weights (awarding extra points or giving a penalty) for certain attributes if requested by the NFT authors. Now, that is not all, so apart from everything listed above - we have some experimental boosts, like extra points for matching sets.
